AKRON & DIN Abrasion Density Tester

Suitable for:
Elastic materials, rubber, tires, conveyor belts, soles, soft synthetic leather, and leather.... measurement of wear of materials such as steel.

Principle:
According to ASTM D297-93, D792-00, D618, and D891, Archimedes' displacement method in water is used.
It is designed for non-absorbent materials and products and is based on two variables to measure the relevant density values.
Contains AKRON and DIN wear test method standards, using the difference in volume before and after wear to obtain the wear volume and wear index.

Mode : 
The main unit has five functions that must be set before measurement:

1. Specific Gravity Measurement Mode - Measures sample specific gravity and volume.

2. DIN wear measurement mode - measure the wear of DIN.

3. AKRON wear measurement mode - measure the wear volume and wear index of AKRON.

4. Mixing ratio specific gravity measurement mode 1- Setting this function will obtain the proportion content of the main materials of the sample.

5. Mixing ratio specific gravity measurement mode 2- Setting this function will obtain the proportion content of the main materials of the sample.
